We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Finance Business Partner, our Finance Officer’s provide financial support for effective budgeting, forecasting and performance management, including accurate management and statutory accounts. Partners with stakeholders to deliver trusted financial insight, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risks and opportunities, and drive value through strong financial controls and informed decision‑making.

 

In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.

 

 

What do our Finance Officer’s do;

  • Support the production, submission and maintenance of annual budgets and financial systems, providing clear analysis to enable informed decision‑making and effective challenge.
  • Deliver accurate, timely management accounts and financial reporting, including journals, variance analysis, risk and opportunity identification, and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations and support statutory accounts, audits and regulatory reporting with high‑quality analysis and documentation.
  • Provide value‑added finance business partnering, delivering tailored reports, robust forecasting, and financial insight to drive value for money across the organisation.
  • Maintain strong financial control, data quality and compliance, ensuring accurate transaction coding, reliable financial data, and effective support for internal and external audits.

What we are looking for;

  • Part qualified Accountant or qualified AAT or equivalent through relevant training / experience
  • Experience of providing appropriate financial information
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively to meet changing needs
  • Strong IT skills including use of Excel, knowledge and use of finance and housing management systems
  • Ability to analyse complex data to produce reports and deliver information to a range of audiences
